Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid glands unable to produce sufficient thyroid hormones as per the requirement of the body. Due to insufficient growth of the hormone, body is unable to perform numerous functions appropriately. The condition is more likely to affect the women as compared to men. Approximately, 5 % of the U.S. population suffers from Hypothyroidism.
