Surgery Modern Medicine

The only way of treating the condition is removing the tumor. For removing the noncancerous tumor, surgery is performed. In most of the cases, it has been observed that most of the tumors are cancerous in nature and spreads to other parts of the body. In such cases surgery cannot be performed. Hence, doctor prescribes drugs like aminoglutethimide, metyrapone, etc. that aid in blocking production of cortisol.
