Causes
Sex organs are developed after several week of egg fertilization. If early testis is not developed before 8 weeks then baby is born with female genitals. If testis are lost between 8 to 10 weeks then baby is born with both males and female genital and this condition is called as ambiguous genitalia.
If testis are lost after differentiation i.e. 12 to 14 weeks baby is born with normal male reproductive system but testis are absent
